We Have a Liftoff

SILVAIR published the Q1-2025 report on May 15th. Bound by the corporate governance rules I could not share our progress earlier, but now the cat is out of the bag. We had a stellar quarter. Q4-2024 was record and always in such cases the worry is if the trend would continue. It has continued. Even stronger. Despite the US trade wars introducing uncertainty in the markets.

Fundamentally I think there are couple of jointly contributing factors to our overall progress:

  1. Brand recognition. Despite very low marketing budget, we continue to be increasingly more recognized. And this is both Bluetooth NLC as the only truly interoperable wireless lighting control standard, and Silvair as the leading product based on this standard. Both brands are associated with performance, quality, robustness and ease of use. A perfect combination of features.
  2. The product feature set is increasingly more complete, particularly addressing the needs of customers in the enterprise segment. Network scalability has been fundamental here, but the recent additions such as the BMS integration through BACnet add to the completeness of the solution.
  3. Both customers and investors clearly appreciate the addition of testing / monitoring of emergency lighting fixtures. It is a wonderful application for IoT mesh networks. Emergency fixtures and exit signs have batteries. The batteries must be tested every month and test records must be kept. In the past people were testing by walking around and pressing "test" buttons with wooden sticks, noting down the test results in paper notebooks. When automated, the tests run unattended and test results are collected automatically with the history stored in the cloud. And of course the interested managers and technicians can subscribe to alerts about failed tests or batteries reaching end of life. Just look around you how many those exit signs or bug-eyes are there. Huge market.
  4. National and global accounts. This is thanks to our partners - we have been securing increasingly more long term orders with national and global accounts. Multi-year roll-outs, over multiple facilities and campuses. Great wins and clearly this is the direction we see being reinforced in our growing project trajectory.
Overall I should now say "big thank you!" to all our hard working partners. We rely on you and we strive to serve you the best we can. With the current results and trends our joint future is very bright!
